09:15 Flag Break into Morning Activity
The ScotJam: Scouts programme is broken up into two sections.
The first portion of the week is made up of taster sessions, where Scouts will take part in a range of water and land based activities. The number of Scouts at ScotJam 2026, means that there will be two different taster programmes running.
Programme A - Activity Groups 1 to 4:
Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Raft Building, Hill Walking, Mega Paddle Boarding, Burn Run & High Ropes
Programme B - Activity Groups 5 to 8:
Hill Walking, Paddle Boarding, Topaz Sailing, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, High Ropes & Canoeing.
Programme C - Activity Group 9: Explorer Experience
2 Full Day Activities (Mountain Biking, Canoe or Mountain Day), Burn Run, High Ropes, Bushcraft
During the taster session Scouts will be in activity groups with Scouts from their Scout Group and/or accommodation block. Participants will be assigned to an activity group, in one of the three programmes.

In the second half of the week Scouts will be able to pick a program that will enable them to achieve one of the following badges: Nautical Skills, Sailing (1, 2 & 3), Paddler (1 & 2), Paddler (2 & 3), Survivor, Climber or Expedition Challenge (12+ yrs).
Saturday to Tuesday there will be two Evening Acivity Slots, during each slot participants will choose to participant in one activity.
Slot 1 (18:30) - Jacobs Ladder, Climbing Tower, Crate Stack, Archery, Frisbee Frenzy, Nerf Battle
Slot 2 (20:00) - Board/ Card Games, Self Defence, Crat n' Daft, Who Dunnit?, Movie, Bushcraft. There will also be the opportunity to work towards achieving badges - Entertainer, Science, Media Relations & Markeketing.
Wednesday - Camp Fire
Thursday - Mallows & Chill
Those participating in the Survivor and Expedition Challenge Programme will spend the night away from the centre.
Friday - Disco
Scouts are encouraged to bring along Beach/Tropical/Bright Clothing for this.
