The ScotJam: Scouts programme was all about giving Scouts the opportunity to enjoy new and exciting adventurous activities, and in the process of doing so Scouts completed a number of badge requirements, including seven nights away.
We encourage all Scouts to share their ScotJam experience with their Troop Leader, who will be able to award any badges that participants are eligible for. The information below, can be used to guide this conversation.
All Scouts at ScotJam were challenged by their leaders and instructors to overcome their fears, to push themselves and set themselves goals for every activity. Therefore, it is possible that Scouts have achieved some elements of their Personal Challenge.
The ScotJam: Scouts Programme was split into two sections, a series of Taster Sessions, followed by a Badge Programme where Scouts selected which badge they wanted to focus on completing.
