Traveling by Car

ScotJam starts on Saturday 25th July, Explorers are welcome to arrive anytime between 11.45am and 12.30pm.  ScotJam finishes on Saturday 1st August, families can arrive from 10.30am to collect their Explorers.  

Please be aware that the road from the top of the Read & Be Thankful (A83) to Lochgoilhead is a single-track road.  Upon arrival in Lochgoilhead you may be directed to park in the Lochgoilhead Village Car Park, and then you will make the short walk to the centre. 

Traveling by Minibus

We are providing Minibus travel from Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow, details of the departure locations and times are available in the documents below. 

• Minibus 1 - Edinburgh & Stirling

• Minibus 2 - Glasgow

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide dedicated transport from Aberdeen, Dundee & Perth as the number of participants travelling from these locations is too low.

To support participants travelling from Aberdeen, Dundee & Perth we have timed our minibus to link in with a scheduled FlixBus service.  Particpants should travel to Stirling on the FlixBus servicer, where a member of our time will meet participants before travelling together on our dedicated minibus.  Further details about the FlixBus servces can be found on page two of the Minibus 1 - Edinburgh & Stirling document. 

The cost of the Minibus travel is £15, invoices will be sent to all participants who have indicated that they are interested in transport.
