If your ID tag has fallen off or is missing from your laptop or power cord, don't panic! Talk to your building staff to submit a request for us to create a new one and get it to you.

What if my 1 to 1 Student ID tag has fallen off or is missing?
If your ID tag has fallen off or is missing from your laptop or power cord, don't panic! These tags are no longer necessary and were primarily used during the device roll-out for initial identification purposes. We recommend that you make note of the asset number located on your device's/cord's tag labeled "Property of Midland Public Schools" and keep them in a safe place.
What should I do if my device is lost or damaged?
If your Chromebook is lost or damaged please contact the MPS Help Desk at (989)923-5119. The help desk is open from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each weekday.
How do I print from my Chromebook at home?
If you have a wireless printer, you can print from your Chromebook using Google Cloud Print. Find out how.
If you do not have a wireless printer, you can access your files from Google Drive on a device that is attached to a printer and print as you normally would.
Where do I get my apps and extensions?
Google Apps are found in "The Cloud" and can be accessed by your Chromebook through the Chrome browser. Extensions can be added by going to the Chrome Web Store. Android apps can be added by going to the Google Play Store.
Right-click on a Chromebook
- Chromebooks are equipped with multi-touch pads. Simply tap with two fingers to "right-click".
Change your password with Password Manager
- Go to the MPS Reset Password tool
- Input your old password
- Input your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Select Submit
