About the Teacher

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the Pennsylvania State University. I am proud to say I have been teaching in Midland for 29 years.  I taught Second Grade for nine years and First Grade for eighteen years. I am excited to be back in Second Grade  for my third year!  

Mission For The Class

I believe in expending high levels of energy when working with Second Graders.  I try to use creative and innovative ways to help my students succeed in the classroom. Every child is a unique individual who needs positive feedback and immediate reinforcement in order to grow academically and socially. My mission is to provide this to my children on a daily basis. Every child deserves an adult who will never give up on them, who understand the power of connection and insists they become the best they can be.
