Hello! My name is Erika Kopsack and I taught 5 year old Kindergarten in the Midland Borough School District for 24 years!  This is my 27th year teaching in the district and also my third  year teaching First Grade! There is no better place than in a classroom of small children!!! My absolute favorite part of teaching these young kiddos is watching them evolve into readers and writers over the course of the year. It’s an AMAZING transformation! 

      I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. I have a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum also from Penn State University. I LOVE my Penn State! WE ARE…..PENN STATE! Go Lions! I am also a mommy to my wonderful, sweet, and very energetic daughter! She is almost 15 years old!  

My mission for my First Grade children is that they learn the necessary basic skills in reading and math to become successful. My goal is to accomplish this in a fun, interactive, and interesting way!
