Passport around the world 

This week Campers took a virtual learning vacation to India, Colombia, Egypt, China, and Italy. Each day they were able to explore each country through videos, song, crafts, and food.  Campers participated in Henna and learned that Henna is used in celebration of special occasions such as weddings and birthdays in the joyous gathering of people. Campers learned about Colombia and took a field trip to see Encanto at the State Theatre. After virtually visiting Egypt campers were able to sample grape leaves from a local Egyptian restaurant King Tut. In addition, campers were given Egyptian pounds as a souvenir of their journey to Egypt. After visiting China students were all given a Chinese fortune cookie from Chen's Kitchen. Our last country was Italy which coincided with Pizza Friday and Campers were able to sample Italian Cannoli's from Jozanna's.  Campers were all given passports which were stamped with the countries they visited. Campers were also able to journal about their virtual vacation.
