Visual Reasoning Study

About the Study

Middlebury College students are conducting research as seniors in the Neuroscience Department.  The purpose of the study is to explore the visual reasoning skills of children ages 4 to 12 years, along with a survey about parent/child background, child play, and parental attributes.  Both the parent and the child must participate.  The study will take approximately 30 minutes per child.  To participate, your child would need to know their colors and cannot be color blind.  You and your child will connect with a Middlebury College student via Zoom, and you will then fill out an online survey.  In return for your time, you will receive one digital $20 Visa gift card via email per child that participates. Parents and children must be fluent in English.

Note:  We are currently only able to allow families residing in the US to participate in this study.

Sign up for a day and time here.  As a reminder, the study will take approximately 30 minutes per child, so please plan accordingly.  The study will take place online using Zoom as well as an online questionnaire.  To participate in this study, you will need to join using a computer (not a phone).  New time slots will be released every Monday, so check back later if the available slots do not work for you.
