A medium that I tend to use the most for my pieces would be digital. Although I’m not opposed to using any other mediums, digital art just happens to be one of my favorites. This specific medium has a wide range of colors and brushes, I’m able to experiment with so many different things; each brush and color holds their own meaning and feeling. Digital gives me the freedom to create anything using any kind of material, for much cheaper. I’ve grown very comfortable with it along with ink and pencil.
As for the subjects of my work, it's usually people who have the most interesting features or have the most pleasing energy. While I do create artworks of people who hold the normal beauty standard, I also create works of those who are not often noticed. Finding the beauty in everything is what I like to show in my works and creating the idea that no matter what exterior a person may have, there is always something that is beautiful about them.
I create art for comfort and safety, when someone is having a bad day I want them to be able to look at my art and feel security or acceptance. Spreading positivity and good energy is what I want most out of my pieces. I convey this idea through warm colors, different patterns, soft textures and bouncy-like lines. Having these elements come together as one makes my pieces come to life and feel as if you can be in this universe along with them. Creating a feeling of joy and love is what I aspire to show in my artworks. I want to show that the viewer deserves as much appreciation as anybody else and that they are loved too. If the person viewing it develops these emotions then my work here is done.
