Based on interest in our community and the success of the full-day kindergarten pilot during the 2022-23 school year, Miamisburg City Schools is pleased to continue to offer a tuition-based full-day kindergarten program as an option for families, in addition to traditional half-day kindergarten, for the 2023-2024 school year.
The full-day kindergarten program, like our half-day program, will be a whole child-focused experience grounded in developmental research to ensure participating students receive strong foundational academic instruction. We believe it will support long-term educational gains for our students by providing a solid, developmentally appropriate foundation of learning and support the academic, social, and emotional success of participating students.
Parents/guardians interested in registering a child in the full-day program must ensure the child is enrolled in kindergarten. Once a child has been registered for kindergarten, the parent/guardian will receive an email with a link where they can designate their program preference.
Tuition for the full-day kindergarten program is $3,000 for the school year. The first quarter tuition payment of $750 is due by the first day of school, August 15, 2023. Subsequent quarterly tuition payments of $750 will be due by the beginning of every quarter, as follows:

For the convenience of parents/guardians, there are two options to make tuition payments: by credit/debit card through Pay Schools Central** or by check at your child's school. Pay Schools Central will be ready to accept online payments related to the 2023-2024 school year sometime in late summer. The child's school can accept payments anytime after July 31, 2023. Tuition will be waived for students who qualify for free or reduced meals. To apply, parents/guardians will need to complete and submit the Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2023-24 school year through Pay Schools Central beginning July 1, 2023.
