• For those who don't have the book, I will give out next week. For those who has MeiZhou Chinese book 1， please bring the book, workbook and vocabulary card to school next week.

• Please prepare an 1 inch binder to put the workbook inside so that it is easier to manage.

• Please email me your child's Chinese Name before Friday (9/12). If your child doesn't have a Chinese name, I will give your child a name according they English name.

• Dismissal Mission: Students will have a mission to answer questions about what we learned in the classroom before they walk out of the classroom. For example, pick a flash card and read the new vocabulary, say a phrase or make a sentence.

• It was nice to meet your child this week. Please encourage your child to listen and read the text book on page 64 to you everyday for 5 minutes.

• You will see a yellow folder in your child's backpack. There should be a vocabulary sheet and a stamp sheet inside. Please remind your child to bring it to school with their finished homework next time. New student will receive the folder next week.

• Quizlet is another good way to learn, especially for vocabularies and phrases. Hope we can have a fun and fulfilling learning journey this year.
