Welcome to the MGS Library!!!
During this school year MGS students will check out thousands of library books. Hopefully some of those books will be read.
I encourage students to check out a book every time they come to the library, however they may bring a book from home or the classroom to read while in the library.
In order to encourage the proper care of materials and appropriate behavior in the Library, please read and remind your students about their responsibilities in the Library. You can find these practices on the Rules and Procedures Page.
A catalog listing of all the books at MGS can be found at this link: https://mgs.follettdestiny.com/
BEANSTACK
We love Beanstack! This year in Beanstack MGS has a goal to read 400,000 minutes as a school for the year.
There will be one challenge that will last all year long. This challenge is a BINGO Challenge and students will be challenged to read 1,000 minutes and complete a couple activities throughout the entire school year.
Every month there will be a new challenge posted on the Beanstack homepage. Students will have the opportunity to read, complete challenges and activites and earn prizes along the way. If you have any questions or need help logging minutes for your student, please reach out to Mrs. Aeschliman at saeschliman@mgsredbirds.org.
