Musgro Farm is an incremental factory game where you plant, transport, and combine crops into recipes in order to continually grow your farm. The game includes the build chains, logistics, and layout challenges of a factory game, and the upgrade, money, and XP scaling of an incremental game.
The core gameplay in Musgro Farm is to plant fields which harvest crops over time and use buildings to convert or combine them into other products. Vehicles will deliver products between buildings and collect them for sale. Each of these can be upgraded in an incremental fashion, with exponential stat scaling.
While vehicles will deliver products between facilities, this will become a bottleneck as vehicles are a limited and expensive resource. Buildings can also acquire products directly from adjacent neighbors, eliminating the need for vehicles but requiring careful planning and layouts.
As you progress, you'll unlock more complicated recipes, more complex systems, and more space to grow your farm.
Musgro Farm is still in early development, but a playtest version is availabe on Steam. The playtest contains many of the core systems, and about 2 hours of content.
I'm a strong believer in incorporating community feedback, so I am currently gathering and responding to feedback on this core part of the game before committing to the final stretch of content. I'd like to leave the door open to new ideas and direction, so getting this feedback is extremely valuable.
