R&D Engineer

Role description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities to drive innovation and enhance our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the development of new technologies. 

What you’ll do

In detail, the candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities.

• Conduct research and development activities to enhance the performance and efficiency of our metal air flow battery technology.

• Design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data, and generate technical reports to support product development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the successful implementation of new features and improvements.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in energy storage technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

What you'll bring:

• A strong background in engineering, with a focus on energy storage systems, electrochemistry, or related fields.

• Experience in conducting research and development activities, including experimental design, data analysis, and technical reporting.

• Proficiency in utilizing engineering software and tools for simulation, modeling, and analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present technical information.

Education

MSc. or PhD in Engineering (e.g. Material, Chemistry, etc.). Other degrees may be valued if there is demonstrable professional experience testifying to the achievement of the requirements.
