This Privacy Policy explains what information Dogmate AI — a dog-walking, community, and AI health-check app operated by MetaCrew ("we", "us") — collects and how it is used. An account is required to use Dogmate AI's core features (walk tracking, friend matching, community, AI health check).

1. Information We Collect and Use

a. Account information (Transmitted · Required)

• Email sign-up: name (nickname), email address, and password.

• Your session token and a cached copy of your profile are stored on your device (local storage).

b. Pet profile (Transmitted)

• Dog information you enter (name, breed, traits, etc.) and pet photos you upload.

c. Location (Transmitted · Optional)

• Walk tracking: while you record a walk, GPS route points and walk statistics (distance, duration) are saved to your walk history on our server. Location is used only while the app is in use; there is no continuous background tracking.

• Nearby matching, map, and weather: your current location is used to match nearby users (at district level), display the map, and fetch weather information.

• Your last location is cached on-device for faster loading.

• If you deny location permission, only the location-based features are limited — the rest of the app still works.

d. Camera & photos (Transmitted · Optional)

• AI poop health check: stool photos you take or select are uploaded to our server, analyzed by AI, and the analysis results are stored in your health records.

• Profile photos and images attached to community posts, chat messages, and walk diaries are also uploaded.

e. Microphone & voice (Transmitted · Optional)

• AI pet chat: when you use voice input, the recording is uploaded to our server to generate the AI response.

f. Content you create (Transmitted)

• Community posts and comments, chat messages, AI chat inputs, walk diaries and notes, suggestions, and support requests (including the name and email you enter).

• In-app activity records such as rewards and point (gold) transactions.

g. Advertising data (Collected by third party)

• The app shows Google AdMob ads (banner and interstitial). AdMob may collect device information and advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve ads, cap frequency, and prevent fraud. See "3. Third Parties / Processors" below.

h. Data stored on-device only (On-device)

• Login token, cached profile, cached last location, and language setting. These stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

We do not collect: contacts, Bluetooth data, motion-sensor data, (human) health data, biometrics, payment card details (the app currently has no paid features), or push-notification tokens (push notifications are not used).

2. Purposes of Use

• Account creation, authentication, and account management

• Walk tracking, statistics, and AI-generated walk diaries

• Nearby-user matching, map and weather display

• AI poop health check (photo analysis) and health-record management

• AI pet chat (text and voice) and AI image generation

• Community, chat, and reward features

• Handling support requests and suggestions

• Serving ads (AdMob) and keeping the service secure and reliable

3. Third Parties / Processors

We do not sell your personal information. The following providers process data to deliver the service:

• vibe-x platform (backend, AI processing, chat infrastructure) — server hosting, data storage, AI analysis/chat processing, chat (TalkFlow), file storage (https://vibe-x.app)

• Google AdMob — in-app advertising (https://policies.google.com/privacy)

• NAVER Maps — map display; loading the map may send your IP and map coordinates to NAVER (https://policy.naver.com/policy-en/privacy.html)

• DiceBear — default avatar image generation, when no profile photo is set (https://www.dicebear.com)

4. App Permissions

• Location (GPS) — record walk routes, match nearby friends, show the map and weather — Optional (denying limits only location features)

• Camera — take poop health-check photos; add profile and post photos — Optional

• Microphone — record voice for AI pet chat — Optional

5. Retention & Deletion

• Your data is kept until you delete your account; upon deletion, your account and associated data are removed. Where law requires longer retention, data is kept only for that period and then destroyed.

• In-app: you can delete your account yourself in My Page → Delete Account.

• By email: you can request account or data deletion at help@dogmate.ai.

6. Children's Privacy

Dogmate AI is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in the Republic of Korea), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that such data was collected, we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

All communication with our servers is encrypted over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable safeguards such as access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights (Regional Notices)

EU/EEA residents (GDPR)

Our legal bases are contract performance (providing the service), consent (optional permissions such as location, camera, microphone), and legitimate interests (security, advertising). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information. You can limit ad-identifier sharing through your device settings (Android "Delete/Reset advertising ID"; iOS tracking settings).

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by updating this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above.

본 개인정보처리방침은 MetaCrew(이하 "회사", "우리")가 제공하는 반려견 산책·커뮤니티·AI 건강 체크 앱 Dogmate AI가 어떤 정보를 어떻게 수집·이용하는지 설명합니다. Dogmate AI의 핵심 기능(산책 기록, 친구 매칭, 커뮤니티, AI 건강 체크 등)을 이용하려면 계정 가입이 필요합니다.

1. 수집·이용하는 정보

① 계정 정보 (서버 전송 · 필수)

• 이메일 가입: 이름(닉네임), 이메일 주소, 비밀번호.

• 로그인 세션 토큰과 프로필 캐시는 기기 내(로컬 저장소)에 보관됩니다.

② 반려견 프로필 (서버 전송)

• 사용자가 입력한 반려견 정보(이름, 품종, 특성 등)와 등록한 반려견 사진.

③ 위치 정보 (서버 전송 · 선택)

• 산책 기록: 산책 중 GPS 경로(좌표 목록), 거리·시간 등 산책 통계가 산책 기록으로 서버에 저장됩니다. 위치 추적은 산책 기능을 사용하는 동안(앱 사용 중)에만 이루어지며, 백그라운드 상시 추적은 하지 않습니다.

• 근처 친구 매칭·지도·날씨: 현재 위치를 사용해 근처 사용자 매칭(지역구 단위), 지도 표시, 날씨 정보 조회를 제공합니다.

• 마지막 위치는 빠른 로딩을 위해 기기 내에 캐시됩니다.

• 위치 권한을 거부해도 위치 기반 기능 외의 앱 기능은 이용할 수 있습니다.

④ 카메라·사진 (서버 전송 · 선택)

• AI 배변 건강 체크: 촬영·선택한 배변 사진이 서버에 업로드되고 AI가 분석하며, 분석 결과가 건강 기록으로 저장됩니다.

• 프로필 사진, 커뮤니티 게시글·채팅·산책 일기에 첨부하는 사진도 서버에 업로드됩니다.

⑤ 마이크·음성 (서버 전송 · 선택)

• AI 펫 대화: 음성 입력 시 녹음 파일이 서버에 업로드되어 AI 응답 생성에 사용됩니다.

⑥ 사용자가 작성한 콘텐츠 (서버 전송)

• 커뮤니티 게시글·댓글, 채팅 메시지, AI 채팅 입력 내용, 산책 일기·메모, 건의사항, 고객 문의 내용(이름·이메일 포함).

• 리워드·포인트(골드) 적립/사용 내역 등 앱 내 활동 기록.

⑦ 광고 관련 정보 (제3자 수집)

• 앱은 Google AdMob 광고(배너·전면 광고)를 표시합니다. AdMob은 광고 게재·빈도 제한·부정행위 방지를 위해 기기 정보와 광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID 등)를 수집할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 "3. 제3자 제공·처리위탁"을 참고하세요.

⑧ 기기 내에만 저장되는 정보 (기기 내 처리)

• 로그인 토큰, 프로필 캐시, 마지막 위치 캐시, 언어 설정. 이 정보는 기기 밖으로 별도 전송되지 않으며 앱 삭제 시 함께 삭제됩니다.

수집하지 않는 정보: 연락처, 블루투스, 모션 센서, (사람의) 건강 데이터, 생체정보, 정확한 결제 정보(현재 유료 결제 기능 없음), 푸시 알림 토큰(푸시 알림 미사용).

2. 이용 목적

• 회원 가입·인증·계정 관리

• 산책 기록·통계, 산책 일기 생성(AI)

• 근처 사용자 매칭, 지도·날씨 표시

• AI 배변 건강 체크(사진 분석) 및 건강 기록 관리

• AI 펫 대화(텍스트·음성), AI 이미지 생성

• 커뮤니티·채팅·리워드 등 소셜 기능 제공

• 고객 문의·건의사항 처리

• 광고 게재(AdMob) 및 서비스 안정성 확보

3. 제3자 제공·처리위탁

우리는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 서비스 제공을 위해 아래 사업자가 데이터를 처리합니다.

• vibe-x 플랫폼 (백엔드·AI 처리·채팅 인프라) — 서버 호스팅, 데이터 저장, AI 분석·대화 처리, 채팅(TalkFlow), 파일 저장 (https://vibe-x.app)

• Google AdMob — 앱 내 광고 게재 (https://policies.google.com/privacy)

• NAVER Maps — 지도 표시. 지도 로딩 시 IP·지도 좌표가 NAVER에 전달될 수 있음 (https://policy.naver.com/policy/privacy.html)

4. 앱 권한 안내

• 위치 (GPS) — 산책 경로 기록, 근처 친구 매칭, 지도·날씨 표시 — 선택 (거부 시 위치 기반 기능만 제한)

• 카메라 — 배변 건강 체크 사진 촬영, 프로필·게시글 사진 등록 — 선택

• 마이크 — AI 펫 대화 음성 녹음 — 선택

5. 보유 기간 및 삭제 방법

• 수집된 정보는 회원 탈퇴 시까지 보관되며, 탈퇴 시 계정 및 관련 데이터가 삭제됩니다. 관련 법령이 별도 보관을 요구하는 경우 해당 기간 동안만 보관 후 파기합니다.

• 앱 내 삭제: 마이페이지 → 계정 탈퇴 메뉴에서 직접 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다.

• 이메일 요청: help@dogmate.ai로 계정·데이터 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.

6. 아동의 개인정보

Dogmate AI는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

7. 보안

모든 서버 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화되며, 접근 통제 등 합리적인 보호 조치를 적용합니다. 다만 인터넷 전송·저장 방식에 100% 완전한 보안은 존재하지 않습니다.

8. 이용자의 권리 (지역별 고지)

EU/EEA 거주자 (GDPR)

처리 근거는 계약 이행(서비스 제공), 동의(위치·카메라·마이크 등 선택 권한), 정당한 이익(보안·광고)입니다. 이용자는 자신의 개인정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 제한, 이동권, 처리 반대 및 동의 철회 권리를 가지며, 감독기관에 민원을 제기할 수 있습니다. 행사는 help@dogmate.ai로 요청하세요.

캘리포니아 거주자 (CCPA/CPRA)

이용자는 수집 정보에 대한 알 권리, 삭제 요청권, 차별받지 않을 권리를 가집니다. 우리는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 광고 목적의 식별자 공유는 기기 설정(Android "광고 삭제/재설정", iOS 추적 설정)으로 제한할 수 있습니다.

9. 방침 변경

본 방침이 변경되는 경우 앱 내 공지 또는 본 페이지 갱신을 통해 알려드리며, 상단의 최종 수정일을 업데이트합니다.
