Complete the following worksheets.

1. Under the coins write the ongoing total. Ex: The first problem would look like this, 10 cents, 15 cents, 20 cents Total: 20 cents

2. Explain the total number is on the left side and the color of the ladybugs are on the bottom. Before you start, have your child find the total of each color of lady bug (Ex: 4 red ladybugs) This will help in answering the questions. If needed, use counters (rocks, pencils, coins) to show each color of lady bug, that will help your child visualize how many of each color.

Talk about the following and complete these three worksheets. :

1. Discuss what ABC order means, watch this video to help with this concept. For each ice cream cone, decide which letter comes first in ABC order and color it in. For more help, write the alphabet vertically to find which letter comes first in line. The letter closer to the front of the line comes first!

2. Discuss the sound "th" makes. Say it together several times (try to say it with a silly voice). Make sure to read each word before you write or color them!

3. Discuss the "ir" sound (it sounds like "er"!). Say it several times. Make sure to read the passage 3 times before answering the questions.
