Complete the following worksheets.
Before you begin, skip count by 2's until you reach 40! If you are having a hard time doing this, count by ones outloud but say every other number loud and whisper the numbers in between. Ex: (whisper) 1, (LOUD) 2, (whisper) 3, (LOUD) 4.... the numbers you say LOUD are the numbers you use to skip count by 2!
2. Before you cut and paste the equations, solve each equation first. The equations with the same answer mean they are equal!
Talk about the following and complete these three worksheets. :
Think about what is in a rainforest. What kinds of animals? Plants? Then write one or two sentences about things you find in a rainforest. The sheet has provided some examples if you need help thinking of things! Make sure to check you used a capital letter to start your sentence(s), used spaces between words, and used punctuation marks at the end of your sentence. Draw a picture of what you wrote about when you are all done writing!
Discuss the word "walk" and how it is a tricky word! The "al" says an "aw" sound. Use the word "walk" in several sentences.
Discuss the "or" sound. Say it several times. Make sure to read the passage 3 times before answering the questions.
