Associated Students of Mesa Community College Red Mountain
What is ASMCC?
ASMCC is a student governed organization that works to advance the needs and interests of Mesa Community College students by promoting and maintaining a democratic form of student government. We develop, implement, and regulate programs that will further the intellectual, social, physical, person, and leadership development of MCC students. Most of all we encourage and support high standards of student achievement. All students who are enrolled in one credit hour are considered members of The Associated Students of Mesa Community College. The Associated Students of Mesa Community College consists of three branches: The Executive Board, Student Senate, and the Student Court.

What do we have planned?
This is the first year for the Red Mountain Campus to have its own Student Government Cabinet. In the Fall of 2022, we started the initiation for many changes. During meetings, we discussed places or things on campus that need to be upgraded and how to make the Red Mountain campus a better space for students to study and relax. We will continue to work on these during the Spring of 2023 while also planning new events.

Hello! My name is Micayla Berglund.
This is my second year on the Red Mountain Campus. I've been participating in ASMCC Student Government since Spring of 2022.
My plan is to major in Biological Science and minor in Business. My dream is to become a Marine Biologist and Zoologist and then travel the world while studying endangered species.

Blaine Anderson

Hi, my name is Blaine Anderson.
This is my second year here at the Red Mountain MCC Campus pursuing an Entrepreneurial Business degree, and I've been part of ASMCC since 2022.
I enjoy playing Video Games, Dungeons & Dragons and writing short stories.
