About Me
This is my 11th year teaching at Meridian High School. I taught 3.5 years at Stewardson Strasburg High School before finding my home at MHS. I graduated from EIU with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. At Meridian I organize the Honor Roll Breakfast and run the Cakes for the Cure basketball event. I also work with Mrs. Warnick on providing travel experiences for out students through EF.
Outside of Meridian I am an avid runner and am working on a goal to run a race in each of the 50 states. So far I have 6 crossed off my list. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I also am an official for the IHSA and USA Track and Field. You can most likely find me out on a cross country course or on the track during those seasons.
I grew up in the Northwest Suburb of Cary, IL with my mom and dad and sister Colleen. We have a very big extended family of 23 cousins and 30 first cousins once removed, just on one side! We're more than family, we're friends! I love getting to visit them when I can.
