Meridian High School is located in Macon, IL. Here the school has thrived and allowed for many clubs, organizations, and programs to thrive, one of which being the MHS Drama program. Meridian's Dramatics Department has made its way through many hardships and struggles, always overcoming them and building back stronger. After reastablishing Meridian's Drama program in 2014, the club has since put on shows annually. With remarkable shows such as Mamma Mia!, Rock of Ages, Les Miserables, and The Holiday Channel; the program has created memories for the public to look back on as well as establish a well-respected name for the group. With the program now being led into a new direction with a new sponsor, they plan to further the growth of the department and its overall success.
