Changes to know this year:
A Snapshot of grades will be taken at 3 PM
You will not have to "post" or "save". The grades will just be collected out of the Gradesheet at 3pm.
Teacher Access → Attendance → Daily Attendance
Choose the current class, mark attendance, and click SAVE
Navigate to the desired page (attendance, for example) → More → Add Tile to Dashboard
Once added to the dashboard, tiles can be rearranged and edited. Simply drag and drop the tiles and click the gear to edit.
Teacher Access → Attendance → Seating Chart
Remember that you only need to create one room layout for your classroom. With that one layout, you can then assign as many seating charts as you have classes.

Message Center can also be added as a tile to your dashboard for quick-access.

*Make sure you turn off indicators if you want that hidden

Sign in through the existing Skyward App or Download the Skyward App from your App Store
If your account only shows Family Access in the app, follow these instructions:
1. Open the Skyward App
2. Click Edit
3. Click Delete --> Delete Account
4. Search "Mercer Island School District" or 98040
5. Sign in with Skyward credentials
6. Click Add Account
7. Click Continue in the App
