Spam/Phishing Alert

Unfortunately, you will likely be the target of scams or phishing emails during your years as a staff member at MISD. The best way to prevent being a victim of these attacks is to be aware of the strategies of those targeting you. Here are a few things to look out for:

• Someone posing as a legitimate company/institution claiming you have previously been in contact

• Any persons asking for personal or payment information

• Any links or files from an email address you don't recognize

• An email address pretending to be someone you know

IF you are ever in doubt of the legitimacy of an email, always use caution and ignore it until you can reach out to the techs at your building
