Open the Windows settings menu.
Navigate to Time & Language > Language & Region.
Click Add a language next to Preferred languages.
Search for the desired language, select it, and click Next.
Check the boxes for the features needed and click Install.
The language pack will take a few minutes to install before it is ready to use.
The Windows display language determines the language used by the Windows user interface. It also determines the language used by Windows features such as the Settings app and File Explorer.
Open the Windows settings menu.
Navigate to Time & Language > Language & Region.
Select the desired language in the dropdown next to Windows display language.
Windows needs to sign you out in order to apply your new display language.
After installing a language pack, a new button with be on your taskbar in the bottom right.
This button indicates what language/keyboard is currently active.
You can change the active language/keyboard by clicking on this button and selecting the desired language.
You can also quick switch between the languages with the shortcut Windows+Spacebar.
You can add additional keyboard layouts if the default for the language is not the one that is needed.
Open the Windows settings menu.
Navigate to Time & Language > Language & Region.
Click the 3 dots next to the desired language and click Language options.
Under the Keyboards section, click Add a keyboard.
Additional keyboard options will be listed and can be selected.
The selected keyboards will show up in the language switcher going forward.
