Mrs. Hermosillo

Hello and welcome to Mrs. Hermosillo's 8th Grade SDC class. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and can't wait to meet you all on Wed. morning August 12th at 9:10a.m. I was born and raised in Merced. I went to Ada Givens, Hoover Middle School and Merced High in my adolescent years. I then moved on to play volleyball and school at St. Mary's College in Moraga, Ca. Moved back home to Merced and received my credentials in Multiple Subjects and Mild/Moderate Special Education. This is now my 21st year of teaching and of those it will be my 21 years I have taught special ed. for 18 years. I have also developed a love for coaching volleyball and have coached for 16 years. I have 6 children. My oldest is 18 years and my youngest is 1 year. My husband and I share the love for animals and have 2 dogs, 3 cats and two fish. Again, I can't wait to meet you all and am excited to get some structure back into my life. I was lucky to find the love of teaching and am thankful I have a job I love. I love making a difference in kids lives and I also enjoy seeing kids smile when they finally get something. I will see you all next Wednesday.
