Dear Parents,

Our December PYP Focus is "Communicator". Communicators express their feelings and ideas, share their thoughts with others, follow directions, talk about their ideas, use other languages, and are good listeners. Student Council Assembly is on December 15.

From Kindergarten to Grade 5, we have started new units to work on;

Kindergarten students will work on Games, our PSE focus is 'Rules are important in playing fairly and nicely'.

Grade 1 students will work on healthy food, healthy choices and healthy life style. I will emphasise Good Touch and Bad Touch.

Grade 2 students will work on expressing ourselves with colours, symbols and shapes. They will create their own family crest.

Grade 3 students will work on Role models, our PSE focus is the difference between popular people and good role models and how positive role models affect us.

Grade 4 students will work on resilience , how they can adapt to changes better and how they improve themselves by being flexible and adaptable.

Grade 5 students will work on conflict resolution and anger management strategies.

We held our parent seminar in December 6 on Parenting Styles with Ms. Kristi. We were expecting more parents to participate when we took the signed up list into account but still it was an effective seminar and we would like to thank our parents who attended.
