Using sources in when you do a research paper or project is an important part of building and supporting your argument. Documenting your research and crediting others for their ideas is a very important part of this process.

Create a citation card entry for each source you use. See below for sample cards. You won't always have information for all the blanks, but do your best to find as much information as possible. For instance, you might not find volume information and if you're using a website, you might not have any journal-related information. Similarly, you may not have editor information for your book. That's normal.
