Bio-sketch

Born on December 18, 1985, Dr. Prabhansu obtained the degree of Doctor of Engineering from NIT Patna in the year 2018, while having exposure of working both at NIT Patna and CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SVNIT, Surat in the year 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to this post, he has experience of working at Ordnance Factory Itarsi, Ministry of Defence Production, Government of India as maintenance engineer. He has also got experience of working at NIT Calicut and at World Bank; TEQIP-III funded Institute as NPIU faculty.

Dr. Prabhansu, currently handling the charge of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Lab, specializes in the areas of Thermal Engineering and Fluid Flow. He has authored more than 30 papers in reputed journals, conferences and books. His current area of interest are Thermo-Chemical conversion of Coal and Biomass, Waste to Energy, Design of Solar Thermal and PV Systems, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems, Water Purification and Portability, Battery thermal Management System and Electric Vehicles, Wind Energy.
