I'm Jade, an artist from Boonton, New Jersey, and I'm a student at the Morris County School of Technology in the Design program. I've been a creative my entire life, drawing and making songs as a little kid encouraged by my parents. This then transitioned me into the person I am today, making music, creating art, and building worlds of my own.Â
I have been dreaming of becoming a published musician my whole life, taking on multiple different aliases for musical projects. I landed on Vanastha at some point, which means forest dweller in Sanskrit, and I thought that summed me up well as a person. I got my first guitar at 9 years old, a 3/4 size Yamaha. I started off making indie folk music on Garageband on my phone, with plans to release an album. My taste then transitioned to jazz fusion and progressive rock, and I made my first album, Math. I then got into more progressive metal and other metal genres, creating the concept track Epic of Alladoxaphobia. I'm now working on a new full-length concept album. This is expanded upon in the Music tab!
My talents don't end at music production, though. I've made countless physical pieces, usually on paper or canvas. I use paint, colored pencil, and marker for the most part, but I'm skilled with mostly all mediums. I practice and sketch in half-sized sketchbooks.
