- What happened: Patrick Crusius, a 21 year old male, was the gunman who shot 22 people in a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.
- Motive: Authorities think that the motive behind the shooting was a white nationalistic and anti-immigration sentiments, since they found a white nationalist document written by the suspect talking about racist and anti-immigration ideas. The Department of Justice is "seriously considering" this shooting to be a federal hate crime.
- Dayton, Ohio: August 6th, 2019
- What happened: Connor Betts killed nine people in Dayton, Ohio. The gunman was shot on the scene.
- Motive: The shooter allegedly had an "obsession" with violence, and a desire to commit a mass shooting.
