Meet the Woodbridge Academy Model United Nations team! We have members from all grades, and new members are accepted annually in September after an application review.
Model United Nations is an activity focused on encouraging problem-solving skills, public speaking, and research. It encourages students to take action on global issues and begin brainstorming solutions that they may be able to apply in years to come.
As a member of the Woodbridge Academy delegation, you will be participating in conferences as a representative for a country or historical/political figure. You will conduct research on various topics such as the climate crisis, antibiotic resistance, and women's rights. You will learn the procedures of the United Nations and apply them to the conferences you participate in, and (hopefully) win some awards!
