PSAT Activity Day at Northridge High School is October 16, 2019. While there will be no academic classes scheduled on this day, there are a wide variety of meaningful and important activities scheduled for all students. In addition to students taking the PSAT test, this day provides an exciting opportunity for NHS students to explore and discover "What's Next?" after graduation, participate in a major service project, hear a dynamic speaker, listen to several career talks, be introduced to CareerWise and learn leadership and team building skills.

PSAT ACTIVITY DAY

WHAT'S HAPPENING DURING PSAT ACTIVITY DAY AT NHS?

DATE: Wednesday, October 16

SENIORS: The Class of 2020 will be off-campus the entire day. Options include: Job Shadowing, individually planned College Visits, Individually planned Service Work, School sponsored College visits, or NUMANA Meal Packing Green Shirt Volunteer. Permission slip and Attendance Verification required.

JUNIORS: The class of 2021 will be taking the PSAT test in the morning in their SRT class. After lunch, students will be attending the "What's Next?" College and Career Fair sponsored by NHS. They will have the opportunity to visit with over 35 colleges (2-year and 4-year), Local businesses and trade groups, military representatives, and gap year programs. This is an exciting opportunity to discover and explore "What's Next?" after graduation. Scavenger Hunt and prizes will make this an engaging afternoon!!

SOPHOMORES: The class of 2022 will be taking the PSAT test in the morning in their SRT class. After lunch, students will be attending a presentation of CareerWise in the auditorium, Following this, students will have the opportunity to visit with over 35 colleges (2-year and 4-year), Local businesses and trade groups, military representatives, and gap year programs. This is an exciting opportunity to discover and explore "What's Next?" after graduation. Scavenger Hunt and prizes will make this an engaging afternoon!!

FRESHMEN: Class of 2023 students will have a full-day of activities specially planned for them. In the morning, students will rotate through three activities; NUMANA Meal Packing event, Special guest speaker, and team-building/leadership event. After lunch, students will rotate through 4 Career talks by area professionals.
