Class overview
We will continue our work on individualized reading, writing, math, and social-emotional goals this year. We primarily use Orton-Gillingham reading strategies and Bridges Intervention math curriculum.

Hi! I'm Emily Barton and it's hard to believe but this is my 16th year teaching Special Education at Oak Grove Elementary School. I am thrilled to welcome our students back to school. This year I am case manager for students with IEPs in grades K-5, and I teach reading, writing, math, social skills, and social-emotional awareness.

Welcome to Ms. Barton and Ms. Cyd's Google Site! I have been a paraprofessional at Oak Grove for 10 years, and I work with K-5 students, assisting them with math, reading, writing and social emotional skills. I am very excited to be back at school this year and look forward to seeing everyone on August 27th!
