This activity develops fine motor skills and helps young children learn to use the mouse.

Kid Pix is a free web app that helps children develop fine motor skills, learn about using menus, and create digital art.

Get started:

• Click the eraser tool on the left.  From the top menu, select your favorite eraser effect.

• Click in the middle of the screen to use your eraser.

• Try all the tools- my favorite is the STAMP tool.  The arrows on the top menu cycle through many stamp collections.  Try holding down the Shift key when you stamp!
