Asian Health Initiative

From the Asian American Health Initiative:

We have the following mental health provider list available:

Chinese: https://aahiinfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Chinese.TherapistList.Sept2021.VERSION1.pdf

Korean: https://aahiinfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Korean.TherapistList.Sept2021.VERSION1.pdf

Vietnamese: https://aahiinfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vietnamese.TherapistList.Sept2021.VERSION1.pdf

Farsi: https://aahiinfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Farsi.TherapistList.Sept2021.VERSION1.pdf

If the student speaks another Asian language, please let me know and I can check our list and identify any provider that may speak that specific language based on need and provide that to you if we have it available.

ProBono Counseling (410.825.1001) also has licensed professionals who speak multiple languages and provide low-cost/free options which may be helpful as well (dependent upon the student’s insurance status).

Additionally, the Patient Navigator Program (PNP) also has medically trained staff that speak multiple languages. They can call any of the places and support with making an appointment (https://aahiinfo.org/patient-navigator-program/). If you need any support connecting to the PNP staff, please let me know.
