As per the invitation letter that you received: * For the 2025-2026 school year, availability of transportation from outside local school feeder patterns to immersion and magnet programs is subject to the approval of the MCPS budget. Pending budget approval, 2025-2026 central stops will be planned for this program and released in August 2025. We do not currently have transportation information for the upcoming school year.
THESE ARE THE CURRENT ROUTES FOR REGIONAL FULL TIME STUDENTS. THEY MAY CHANGE IN AUGUST 2025. Students in the regional programs may have an earlier bus stop time than other students. Bus rides may last up to 45 minutes one way, depending on point of origin and destination.
Assigned schools are responsible for scheduling bus routes for part time students to/from the assigned school to Seneca Valley HS. Part time students will either have courses at Seneca Valley in the morning or afternoon. There will be a "travel period" included in their schedule. During that time, they will travel to/from the assigned school to Seneca Valley.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES
Students do not need to choose between IB and CTE programs. They can do both! Follow the link under the picture for more information! <---
Regional students are expected to attend and pass courses. In most instances, students will not be able to advance to the next course if they do not pass the previous course in the sequence. Chronic absenteeism and class failure may lead to program dismissal. Students must remain in their selected programs in order to remain enrolled. Students may not switch programs after they have been officially enrolled.
