Drill is a team that performs precise and synchronized military marching. Drill consists of unarmed standard, unarmed exhibition, armed standard, and armed exhibition.
Color guard is a team that presents the national colors at various events and performs precision drills and ceremonies. Usually being executed by 4 cadets (right shoulder arms, American flag, Unit flag, and left shoulder arms).
Athletics is a competitive sport for cadets to participate in, allowing them to compete in physical fitness events against other high school students. All cadets compete in events that includes push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, relay races, rope bridges, and obstacle courses.
Orienteering is an ambitious sport that allows cadets to navigate through forests, rivers, and various terrains using maps and compasses. This develops fast thinking skills and physical endurance.
Cadets use their brain power and communication skills to figure out tricky problems with fellow cadets! Our most recent events were JLAB and Brain Brawl!
Air Rifle is an competitive program where cadets practice on marksmanship, discipline, and concentration.
Sea Perch is an aquatic robotics program where cadets build and race remotely operated underwater vehicles. Cadets compete in events that include obstacle courses and missions. It teaches basic engineering principles, design concepts, teamwork, and critical thinking.
Drone teaches STEM, leadership, teamwork and future workforce skills using programmable drones. Cadets learn to operate drones through obstacle courses, skill challenges, develop critical thinking and communication that can be beneficial for aerospace and technology.
Philadelphia parade
This year the cadets were able to experience the amazing opportunity to march along side with other schools and programs. Honoring the 250th birthday of the U.S Navy and Marine Corps at their birthplace. The event included high school and college marching bands, the U.S Naval Academy Silent Drill Platoon, Drum & Bugle Corps, ROTC, NJROTC, JROTC, and United States Sea Cadet Programs.

ANDREWs Air Force Base
Andrews Air Force Base was the first field trip of the year! Cadets were able to watch the amazing airshow and look around, viewing the amazing airplanes and jets. Cadets were also able to try out different simulations to give. sense of how it feels like to fly different aircrafts. Overall it was a fun experience!
