Hi! My name is Aaron Klaus and I teach band and orchestra at:

• Sligo Creek Elementary School (Monday mornings, Tuesdays, and Fridays)

• Maryvale Elementary School (Monday afternoons, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

This is my fifth year teaching in MCPS. I am a proud graduate of MCPS (I went to Walter Johnson High School, North Bethesda Middle School, and Wyngate Elementary School). I studied music performance and physics at Oberlin College and music performance and music education at Towson University.

When I am not teaching, I love hiking, cooking, playing the trumpet, and watching baseball!
