Students will complete two writing tasks each quarter matched to the types of writing identified by the Common Core State Standards: narrative, informative/explanatory, and argument.
Narrative
A fictional narrative that achieves a particular effect (centrally reported during MP1)
Analysis
An informative essay or a Wikipedia-style entry that uses both text and images to explain the history or background of a topic
