Performance Matters: Video Tutorials
Schools/offices can submit requests for specific professional learning during the school year.
Trainings are facilitated by members of the Assessment and Data Management Unit, Office of Shared Accountability.
Please note, requests should be made by a member of the school/office team who will be coordinating the professional development planning. Once the Assessment and Data Management Unit receives your request, we will review and respond to the point of contact indicated on the request form.
Some examples of training sessions available are:
Performance Matters platform: General overview & Refresher session
Baseball Card: Monitor student progress to support decision making via multiple measures
MyDashboard & Student Detail: Unpack data for a single student
Student Item Analysis: Explore school/class/student performance on District Assessments administered via PM
To request learning for your team or office, please complete this PM Professional Learning Request form and email your Instructional Specialist.
Fall 2025: SA-107 Teacher Created Online Formative Assessment, 2 CPD credits
Participants will learn how to create test items that utilize a wide variety of interaction templates that range from basic to technology enhanced and use the items to build standards-based formative assessments. Participants will learn effective assessment practices to provide a balance of rigor and interaction for students as well as master reports available to view and analyze student data.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have teacher test writer permissions in Performance Matters.
