Opening Act
Advisor: Mr. Turner
**Note, this site is still a work-in-progress. Please be patient with us as we work towards finishing it!**
Starting in 2021, Opening Act serves as Woodbridge Academy's drama club, dedicated to creating a collaborative and enjoyable environment for members as they strive towards completing productions to be presented in front of audiences. The club typically puts on a Winter and Spring production each academic year, with some past productions include modified versions of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Thorton Wilder's "Our Town", and Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". Members are selected as either cast, tech, set, or costuming based on their indicated interest.
Induction into the drama club is FREE, we do not ask for members to pay induction fees. However, we do expect all members to follow club rules and to fulfill their club responsibilities. Additionally, while we try to accomodate everyone, some departments will have limited openings.
General Rules:
Bullying will NOT be tolerated
If you break property, whether that be the school's property or the property that someone else has brought in for club usage, you are responsible to paying/replacing it
Clean up the area you are working in before you leave
Do your work; the club needs to work at a fast enough pace to meet production deadlines
Role-Specific Responsibilities:
