Health information for the lay person compiled by the National Library of Medicine. Multiple languages available.

Michigan Electronic Library

Approximately 13 bibliographic databases indexing business, popular, and medical literature (includes Medline and CINAHL). Links to librarian reviewed WEB sites. Practice tests for paramedics, the ACT, and others. Access is via IP recognition within the hospital or by Driver's License or State ID from home. Free to all Michigan residents

Michigan Go Local

A directory of healthcare services, programs and providers covering the entire state. The directory currently contains over 6800 records. The site is maintained by Wayne State University's Shiffman Medical Library in partnership with the National Library of Medicine.
