Mr. Smith

I am entering my 15th year teaching here in the McIntosh County School System. I spent 6 years teaching 7th and 8th grade math at the middle school as well as coaching football and baseball at MCMS. After teaching the Business Pathway for the last three years, I am returning to mathematics. I taught a variety of math classes here at MCA for five years including Algebra II, Geometry, Honors Algebra II and Accelerated Pre-Calculus.

My wife is an elementary teacher in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. We have three daughters; Lauren is a 2016 MCA graduate and recently graduated from Georgia Southern University, Keirstyn is a 2019 MCA graduate and is attending the University of Georgia in Athens, and Kaylie is a eighth grader at MCMS and is on the cheerleading team.

I enjoy playing golf, watching sports, and even playing some video games (Madden and MLB The Show) in my free time.
