FIRST Robotics

The McGuffey High School Engineering Technology dept is moving forward with our rookie year for FIRST Robotics. We have learned a lot over the past four weeks. There have been a couple of setbacks but nothing we couldn't manage to overcome. The robot is taking shape and with only nine days to go before we stop building it is going to be close but I have faith we will get it done. Our goal is still capturing the best rookie team this year. This would get us a spot in the world championship in Detroit. The students frequently ask about our fundraising campaign as it means so very much to know the community is behind us in this endeavor.
