My Portfolio

I am working to learn a lot during these days for social studies. My main goal is to learn about our past, so when we hold positions in offices and charge, we don't repeat the bad things. I am planning on learning for the long run and not effect our country for a negative purpose. My evidence for showing my progress of learning is firstly, my grades. I am succeeding and learning about history. Another would be my notebooks and projects and see how much I understand the topics that I research about. This proves that I am learning and comprehending what we are studying. I feel that I still need to master the concept of learning and keeping that knowledge with me. I need to remember what I learn so it will help me for the long run and not just for now. This will help everyone to remember what they learned to strengthen the muscles in their brains too. Next I am going to keep this knowledge that I learned form the I, E, I project and apply this to our actual Renaissance lesson coming up.

I have been challenged throughout this I, E, I project, but I managed to get through it okay. My major challenge was probably figuring out how to layout my 'Leonardo da Vinci Scrapbook'. I had to figure out where I wanted the words, if I should have many words, what color should the words be, where and how many pictures there should be, and if I should make a page about what I think about him. With all of these decisions I had to chose one. This was very hard, but the scrapbook turned out pretty good in general. I do disagree with the way some of my pages look, but I mean it ca't be perfect. As much as I want it to be, perfect is a far-fetched word that will never be accomplished in mankind. This could be a valuable idea by it changing my whole scrapbook as a whole. It could look better or worse based of what I would have decided to change about it. It just depends on the 'eye of the beholder', I guess. I feel that others would either agree or disagree if my scrapbook could be better or worse with adjustments. It is probably also disagreeable if a scrapbook was a good choice to answer my question with. I may think it is, but others might think that it is not as wise to use a scrapbook to answer my questions about valuable people. If we have another project like this I, E, I project then I will brainstorm more ideas until I chose one that is almost perfect for my question. I will continue to think about my work and keep imagining what a creative thing would for the project we would complete.

I am proud of many things this project. I feel that the thing I am most proud of is the way my scrapbook turned out. Even though it was hard work, it turned out really great! I feel as if I put that much effort into all of my assignment I will be as pleased with them as I am with the scrapbook. I feel as this is an accomplishment to pretty much anyone. To do good on an assignment as well as be pleased with it yourself. That is something to be proud of. Also being able to finish a scrapbook on my own is a pretty big achievement itself. In order to achieve this accomplishment, I had to work hard and believe in myself. If you work hard you can accomplish things too. I feel that my work was extraordinary because it is pleasing to the eye and easy to read. This makes it appear pleasing to the person who might be reading it. Next I am hoping to learn more and expand my knowledge of the Renaissance.

I am thinking about the project I just did, the I, E, I project. I am thinking of this because I feel very confident in it and I know that I did my best to complete it to its best level. My hard work and time towards this assignment. The power of myself towards this project. This idea interests me because I decided to challenge myself and go for a scrapbook. With this I was able to challenge my mind in thinking of different ways to display facts and information. This matters because it took my time and effort towards this project. I also counts for a grade, which is also pretty important. I am going to organize the data I have and apply it to the new information I have now next. I will then understand the Renaissance better.

This has been my portfolio for the I, E, I project. I hope you had enjoyed!
