Inspired by Euripides's Medea, the play follows the story of a young Native American girl who falls in love with a Colonial named Jason. As Jason goes in search for the Golden Spear he is rescued by a Chief who brings him back to his tribe, he gains his trust but soon tricks his daughter Medea, the next Shaman of the tribe, to help him defeat the Beast that guards the spear. Once Jason had the spear in his hands he takes Medea to his home where he marries and lives with her for the next 100 year. Soon he meets the Generals daughter whom he falls in love with and Medea's world comes crashing down. How will she get her children back? How will she show Jason how much he's hurt her? She must believe in herself as a Shaman and bring justice to herself.Â
