The Conference Program Committee of the Mississippi Music Teachers Association invites proposals for sessions for inclusion at its Annual Conference.

We welcome proposals including demonstrations, scholarly research papers, lecture recitals, and workshops relating to all aspects of music creation, performance, scholarship, teaching, learning, career considerations, and other areas of interest to the music professional.

The Committee prioritizes proposals that reflect the purpose and goals of the Mississippi Music Teachers Association, which are to further the art of music, and promote the growth and professional development of its members by providing programs that encourage and support teaching, performance, composition and research.

Sessions will be 25 minutes in length, inclusive of a question and answer period.

Presenters and performers are required to register for the conference.
