MCS Software/Roster Status

Service / Status:

Canvas: Partially Operational - HIGH PRIORITY/Workaround Exists - accounts for most students should be active and functional; other accounts are not having the appropriate roster data pulled from PowerSchool. A ticket is open with PowerSchool, but not additional details or ETA are available at this time. Workaround: If an unrostered student logs into Canvas via Classlink, they are automatically given a temporary account that consists of their graduation year, 4 four letters of last name, first initial and middle initial (e.g., 25lastfm). This account isn't rostered to any classes. As a workaround, individual teachers can open the appropriate class in Canvas, click on People --> +People --> Select "Login ID" and enter the student's username in the box, click Next -> Add Users


Classlink: Fully Operational - accounts for all students should be active and functional.


iReady: Partially Operational - HIGH PRIORITY/No Workaround - accounts for most students should be active and functional; other accounts are not having the appropriate roster data pulled from PowerSchool. A ticket is open with PowerSchool, but not additional details or ETA are available at this time. Summary: Teacher accounts are set and functional, most student accounts are set and functional. Students who are not seeing the icon in Classlink have no access until the data syncing issue from PS is resolved.


IXL: Partially Operational - HIGH PRIORITY/No Workaround - accounts for most students should be active and functional; other accounts are not having the appropriate roster data pulled from PowerSchool. A ticket is open with PowerSchool, but not additional details or ETA are available at this time. Summary: Teacher accounts are set and functional, most student accounts are set and functional. Students who are not seeing the icon in Classlink have no access until the data syncing issue from PS is resolved.


MobyMax: Fully operational; Known Intermittent Sync Issue - accounts for all students should be active and functional. Periodically, MobyMax is slow to pull our roster data and may go 2-3 weeks without pulling new students instead of every 4 hours. If a new student isn't synced to MobyMax within 1 full day, please open a support ticket with your school helpdesk.


Renaissance Learning/AR/STAR: Fully operational, additional login options to come; Students can currently login using their case-sensitive 25lastfm/MCSfl1234 credentials.
