All Masked or Unmasked Vaccinated

Close Contacts are defined as anyone within 6 feet of an infected person for longer than 15 minutes. We especially prioritize close contacts who were possibly unmasked during that opportunity for exposure. These kinds of encounters most often happen when children are eating or drinking. We do our best to mitigate spread by keeping kids moving, requiring masking when crowding, and strongly encouraging mask wearing anytime outdoors.

If the child is vaccinated- 14 days have passed after receiving the 2nd dose, and this encounter happens, they can keep coming to school.

If we can verify that both the close contact and infected person were wearing their masks during the entire opportunity for exposure, unvaccinated masked close contacts may return to school under a Modified Quarantine.
