Maxwell PTA is a certified 501c(3) non-profit organization made up of parents, teachers, family and community members working together to support the educational experiences and school pride of Maxwell Elementary School.
While the role of the PTA varies, it typically includes providing volunteers, resources, advocacy, and support for all classrooms, school activities, and family programs. We have one large fundraiser a year to support these initiatives. For more info on how we spend our money, see the WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? page.
You can become a member by submitting your online membership form here.
You can get involved by attending meetings, participating in events, and volunteering your time and resources to the PTA. We have multiple Committees you can join! Most of our Board members are working parents - no matter what your availibity/needs are, we have a place for you!
Communication is very important to us! We email weekly newsletters to all of our members and post on social media. Once you join the PTA, you will be added to the email list. We won't spam you with multiple emails, but will be sure that you are informed!
