Currently, I am an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology in Hyderabad. My research focuses on analysis of Banach spaces and investigating their numerous geometric properties. Extensions of linear operators and their geometric consequences are also the current focus of my research. The organization that I am affiliated with has provided me with the opportunity to instruct a variety of classes, ranging from those for undergraduates to those for postgraduates. While I find it more engaging to instruct on subjects closely aligned with my research, it is equally important for an academician to periodically diverge from the primary focus. Throughout my undergraduate engineering teaching, I have taught a range of courses that are definitely part of the mathematics curriculum but have taught from an engineering perspective. Following the completion of my Master's degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Calcutta, I went on to earn my Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Indian Statistical Institute.
